The Hague

The beautiful city of The Hague is the home of more than 500.000 people, the home of the King & Queen, the government, the parliament, the supreme court and the council of state. Nonetheless, it is not the Capital City of The Netherlands, which is Amsterdam. The city originated around 1230 when Count Floris IV of Holland build a hunting residence (currently ‘Binnenhof’/’Inner Court’).
